Milk and Honey is a new tiny restaurant on Jaffo Street in Jerusalem. The store is fully renovated and something I appreciated, very clean. Pancakes places in Jerusalem don’t exist and finding some on the menu is rare, so naturally this place was a welcomed find. They have essentially two options: pancakes or waffles. They serve you one packet for 28 NIS plus 2 toppings. At first I thought it was a bit exaggerated but not at all, this pancake is HUGE and super filling, I left the table completely full. The pancake is very fluffy and not too sweet which was amazing. I really hate when pancakes are overly sweet and the taste on this one was on point. The best part as a Canadian: the maple syrup was REAL. A very rare find in Israel. Plus I loved that they use paper and bamboo spoons instead of serving a hot plate on plastic. The owner is very sweet and very welcoming, he gave us some free toppings on the house. Overall recommend 100% go give this small business some love!
