For our anniversary we decided to go to the Grand Court Hotel in Jerusalem. And oy vey, that was an experience. The Grand Court Hotel in Jerusalem offers a beautiful exterior and a welcoming lobby, which initially makes a good impression. The hotel grounds and common areas are well-maintained, adding a touch of charm to the overall experience. However, once inside the rooms- not as great. The rooms are outdated, with a worn feel that would benefit from some modern updates, though they are kept quite clean. In the bathroom, we noticed some missing tiles and fixtures that added to the overall feeling of neglect. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment, as it was mostly processed and bland, with a slight improvement for Shabbat meals but still lacking in quality and flavor. During the winter, the pool is closed- which was super disappointing.
While the hotel is close to the light rail, the immediate area isn't the best for exploring the city on foot. Overall super disappointing and would not go back.
